The museum's primary collection is housed in the Neon Boneyard, which contains over 250 unrestored neon signs and numerous restored signs for you to gawk at.

On your private tour through this section of the Eldorado Canyon, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with history, seeing the Techatticup Mine and many artifacts and curiosities from the last 150 years.

In 1861, the Techatticup Mine was established, and as word got around, war deserters, prospectors, and desperados flocked to the area hoping to get rich quickly.

It wasn’t long before murderers and thieves were in control, and the town grew to have a rowdy reputation.

Eventually, the mine's resources were exhausted and shut down in 1941.

Sometime later, flooding caused the town to be abandoned. But today, it is open again for tours, weddings, and photo shoots.
