Top 30 Attractions on the Las Vegas Strip You Must See (+Things To Do, Experiences & Map)

Last Updated on June 03, 2023 by Nikki Jain

There are so many things to do on the Las Vegas Strip. However, that wasn't always the case. The city grew from a small railroad town into the glittering entertainment destination it is today. The Strip is lined with some of the world's most distinctive hotels, such as the incomparable Bellagio and Caesars Palace, and some of the finest in entertainment.

One of the most noticeable changes has been the increase in family and child-friendly activities. Visitors will find one-of-a-kind attractions on the Vegas Strip in addition to gambling – from dining inside the Eiffel Tower to swimming with sharks. Many of these attractions are offered at specific casinos, but one does not have to be a guest to enjoy them.

Let's see some of the iconic attractions on the Las Vegas Strip.

1: Opulence at the Wynn Casino

Opulence at the Wynn Casino

Wynn Casino is an attraction on the Las Vegas strip that offers sheer opulence and sophistication to both guests and non-guests, as well.

Stroll through the lobby for displays of Instagram-worthy floral arrangements.

Shops here carry top-of-the-line brands such as Hermès, and the Wynn is the only Strip casino with its own golf course.

In the evening, guests and non-guests can revel in the incredible Lake of Dream show, a spectacular light show with a waterfall.

Without spending for accommodations, visitors can take advantage of Wynn’s ultimate pool for approximately $60.00, which includes a daybed, table, access to the heated pool, and food and drinks from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Beach Club indulgence is also available to non-guests and includes a private cabana, television, snacks, and nightly entertainment that can be as high as $1,000.00.

Few Las Vegas honeymoon experiences can equal this.

2: The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign

The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign
Dreamstime/Photoquest

One of the things to do on the Strip in Vegas is to take a selfie with the famous ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas’ sign which is known throughout the world for its glittering neon lights standing 25 feet high overlooking the Strip and providing a lovely introduction to the city: Welcome. We’re happy to see you.

Visitors staying at the Mandalay Bay are within walking distance. Others can reach the sign easily by taking an Uber or Lyft.

The best time to see the Welcome sign is early in the day when other tourists are still working off their night-before hangover.

That would be any time before noon. Most of the time, there will be amateur photographers offering to take pictures.

They are not professionals and shouldn’t be charging, but a $5.00 tip is a nice gesture and probably worth a nice photo.

In addition, Elvis impersonators and costumed showgirls are usually willing to pose. They, too, merit a $5.00 tip, although it’s hard to put a price on Elvis.

3: Pinball Hall of Fame

Pinball Hall of Fame
Dreamstime/Chon Kit Leong

One of the Las Vegas strip attractions is the new and improved Pinball Hall of Fame, which opened directly across from the Welcome To Las Vegas sign.

Here, people will be surrounded by 25,000 square feet of 200 timeless pinball machines dating back to the 1960s, from Pacman to Donkey Kong, with most machines dating to the1970s and 1980s. It is the world’s largest public pinball collection.

Nostalgia reigns here, and people old enough to remember Pacman are eager to introduce their kids to the game. Pacman still lives.

The older machines cost 25 cents per play, while the 90s models cost 50 cents. Certainly a safer bet than a casino and a lot more fun than the slots.

After paying for rent and expenses, all these coins end up donated to the Salvation Army. Everything here is about fun instead of profit – certainly strange for the Strip, but true.

The Pinball Hall is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sundays through Thursday and until 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings.

The aquarium is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day of the week.

Certified divers over 18 years of age can feel the thrill as they participate in guided dives with the tank’s 30 or more sharks.

Taking in a grand art collection is one of the unexpected things to do on the Las Vegas Strip.

The ARIA Fine Art Collection elevates public spaces with works of art from such artists as Frank Stella and Nancy Rubin.

These can be enjoyed on a self-guided tour for free. Certain pieces were explicitly created to occupy their space on the tour.

It begins in the lobby of the Aria Resort with Maya Lin’s 84-foot depiction of the Colorado River cast in silver and leads to a boat ride at the Vdara Resort, exhibiting a very modern sculpture.

The collection – and the tour – are spread across several locations, beginning at the Aria, and it can easily be walked.

15: The Punk Rock Museum

The Punk Rock Museum

One of Sin City’s newest Las Vegas Strip activities is the Punk Rock Museum.

The museum highlights the culture and history of Rock and Roll’s illegitimate offspring. For fans, this is a great opportunity to view artifacts from the punk rock era.

The behind-the-scenes tour allows visitors to see and touch items like Joan Jett's guitar. Take a quick rest and relax on Kurt Cobain’s couch. There are some marvelous punk memorabilia.

Enjoy a drink with other punk fans at the Double Down Saloon, a wannabe dive for fans to meet and hash over the “good old” days.

The drinks are no-frills, with rum and coke in a Pringle’s can topping the list. It doesn’t get more punk than that.

Those who have had enough shots can take their beloved to the museum’s wedding chapel and tie the knot – legitimately.

The museum opened its wedding chapel in April and has two different punked-up wedding packages (click here for information), including the Partners in Crime package and the Till Death Do Us Punk. What punk could resist?
