Las Vegas is a city of overabundance. They do things big here and celebrate New Year's Eve like no other. Las Vegas New Year’s Eve can be star-filled, booze-filled, or laid back and relaxed.
There are so many things to do during NYE in Las Vegas. The famed Strip closes down, and every bar, band, and restaurant opens its door to the party of the year.
The magnificent fireworks along the Strip bursting simultaneously from six gaming resorts are rivaled only by the fireworks display in New York.
With the Strip shut down to cars, Ubers and Lyfts will be virtually impossible to order, so plan on walking a lot. It will be fun.
Celebrating NYE in Vegas can be dizzying, and finding the best New Year's Eve parties in Vegas can be challenging.
That is why we have listed our favorite choices, from inexpensive, costly, loud, family-focused, contemplative, and plain fun.
Let's begin to explore where to spend New Year's Eve in Las Vegas!

New Year's Eve Parties in Vegas can be a big, memorable deal. There are times, however, lots of liquor, noise, and crowds just aren't what we want or need. Taking a quick New Year's trip to the Grand Canyon can fill an empty soul.

Before returning to Las Vegas, hike through the Canyon and discover life's genuine wonders. The tour will arrive in Las Vegas at 7:00 p.m. the following day.

New Year’s Eve is one night out of 364. Is it worth the fuss? Yes and no. Many people don’t necessarily have a great year to celebrate. However, it is one night to contemplate the future – we really don’t do that enough.
After the fireworks are over, all the booze has been consumed, and the hangovers have healed, we still need to face our lives.
At some point, New Year’s Eve could be a good time to simply reflect on where we are and where we want to be. If changes need to be made, perhaps this is the time.
