Last Updated on November 15, 2025 by Nikki Jain

One of the best things about living in the USA (or visiting the USA) is that there is so much natural beauty there. Stunning locales that can form the backdrop to your dream wedding. Oh, and we take the wedding industry seriously, too. If you’re looking to get married in the USA, you’ve got plenty of options...and we’ll share ten of them with you!

Barring one or two 'destinations', we’re not going to focus on specific best wedding venues in the USA. Instead, we’ll focus on the best cities/places to get married, and you can track down your own venue. We’re the idea people. We’re just pointing you toward places you might want to consider, and then you can find your own venue based on your budget.

1: Las Vegas

We know that Las Vegas has a bit of a reputation for being the sort of place that you get married if you’re a little drunk and are acting on a whim. We’ll say most of the weddings are like that. But Las Vegas isn't just for the elopers. You can also have a properly planned wedding in the city of neon lights, one that takes years to plan. There are venues galore in the city. Your only challenge is finding the right one.

We especially love Vegas for many of the 'themed' weddings here, with gangster-style weddings ridiculously common. Oh, and yes. You can get married by an Elvis impersonator if you're that way inclined. Traditional weddings happen here, too.

2: Hawaii

Beach wedding? Pretty much anywhere in Hawaii will do. Beautiful white sands, blue waters, and lots of heat. Don’t feel like getting sand between your toes? That’s fine too. Plenty of grassy fields with views over the seemingly never-ending ocean, too. The only problem with a Hawaiian wedding is that a lot of people want them, so you’ll probably want to book a few years in advance.

3: New York City, New York

While most people prefer a picturesque wedding in the heart of nature, some people love beautiful cityscapes to be the backdrop to their wedding. New York City has one of the most famous skylines in the country. If you’re lucky, you can even find a venue that has one of the major New York landmarks at the heart of your photos. It’ll be a wedding you’ll never forget. Of course, the ‘adventure’ out in New York will be even better for your post-wedding festivities.

4: Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida

Want to feel like a real princess when you get married? Head to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We know that a Disney wedding may not be for everybody (especially if you’re on a limited budget), but it is, without a doubt, one of the best wedding destinations in the US. Disney has their own dedicated wedding pavilion, where everything is dressed up to seem like you’ve been put straight into a Disney movie. Disney characters can appear, and of course, you’ve got the backdrop of Walt Disney World for those wedding shots.

Disney is fantastic when it comes to planning weddings, and if you can afford it, you really will end up with the wedding of your dreams. Might be one just for Disney fans, though.

5: Napa Valley, California

There are a few gorgeous places in California where you can rock your stunning tea-length wedding dresses, but we don’t think there is a more scenic location than Napa Valley. Imagine getting married with stunning rolling hills and vineyards as the backdrop to your photos!

6: Sedona, Arizona

When most people for the natural look to their wedding, they look for mountain ranges, perhaps beaches, and, for the more adventurous, a dash of snow. Why not shake things up a little bit? Sedona is peppered with red-rock cliffs that can add a dash of uniqueness to your wedding shots. Even the desert looks stunning, although you might not want to buy white bridesmaid dresses for this wedding. They’ll get filthy.

If you’re planning a wedding in the height of Spring or maybe squeaking into Summer, then Lake Tahoe is tremendous. Experience beautiful green foliage surrounding that fantastic lake. Oh, and you have some alpine mountains and beaches thrown in for good measure. Honestly, there are plenty of great venues to choose from here, and the hardest job will be sorting through all of them.

8: Cape Cod, Massachusetts

If you’re looking for that quaint seaside town charm, then Cape Cod could be perfect. Great beaches, a tranquil little town, and some stunning lighthouses to have as your background to your wedding shots. This is one of those rare wedding destinations that seems to shine better in the fall, but your guests will probably need to wrap up a bit warmer!

New Orleans boasts weddings that are brimming with energy. New Orleans has a culture like anywhere else in the US, and it bleeds through into the food, architecture, and music. Imagine having a fantastic jazz band playing at your wedding? Many of the top wedding venues here, at least for the post-party, will be bars and music clubs, and there are some unique buildings to get married in. New Orleans is ideal if you want a wedding with a bit of unique charm and flair. It isn’t for those who lack energy, that’s for sure.

Charleston is packed with stunning mansions that double as wedding venues. As you wander through the cobblestone streets, meandering past those mansions, you’ll get a feel for ‘old’ America. You’ll need to be here in the Spring, though. If you don’t, you’ll be losing out on the charm of all the fantastic gardens that Charleston residents started to plant centuries ago.
